French writer who won the 1916 Nobel Prize for literature. Untranslated ALS in French, two pages on two adjoining sheets, 5.5 x 8.25, November 29, 1925. Rolland pens two pages in his expressive hand. Central horizontal fold, a few small tears along the edges, and a collector’s pencil notation below the signature, only slightly affecting the first letter, otherwise fine condition.
